sleep tight
queen of the deserts
sleep tight
there’s sleepy dust in your eyes
there’s a god growing in you tonight
close your eyes
there’s a new day awaiting to shine
close your eyes
i’ll wait for you to rise
the caravan left me int he oasis ont he seventh day after the expedition
turned out to be foolidh and unexpectedly dry
so i started to walk through the dunes and a tiger appeared with long black teeth and figures
trimmed in its hair, showing the way to an unknown tribe
they gave me a warm welcome because they knew what i did search for
so i left with some presents like a spear and a dagger and finally i reached the cave
the queen was asleep inside i laid down beside her and started to speak
and told her my life story as a bedtime tale to wake her up
i asked her what did she dream of
she answered that the dreaming part begins just now
